Alebrijes are animals hand painted and carved by hand from copal wood. Copal wood is the traditional wood used to carve Alebrijes.
Zeny Fuentes is a native artisan from San Martin Tilcajete, Oaxaca, Mexico. He continues the tradition of creating Alebrijes in the family workshop where he creates his incredible art.
