Beautiful Mata Ortiz bas-relief olla for sale. Handcrafted by master potter, Karina Mora, from Mata Ortiz, Chihuahua, Mexico. This ceramic olla is handmade with ancestral traditions from the village of Mata Ortiz in Chihuahua, Mexico. Very collectible and unique. The clay is mined from the Sierra Madre Occidental mountain range, painted with natural dye paint and hand-coiled. This olla has fine detail and will be perfect for anyone's pottery collection. This decorative ceramic olla has a colorful butterfly and flower theme.
All pieces are handmade and signed by the artist, Korina Mora & her husband. 4" x 6". Decorated with colorful butterflies and flowers. Includes pottery ring stand.

I had my eye on this olla for a while to add to my collection of Mata Ortiz. At last we got a painting my husband did years ago for his mom and I noticed the olla complimented the colors so I went for it. Love the workmanship, good quality for the cost. Excellent service, well packaged and arrived quickly despite a winter storm!
