We have a special lot of 8 Mata Ortiz ceramic vessels for sale. These beautiful pots are from Mata Ortiz, Chihuahua, Mexico. This collection includes a variety of black ceramic designs and are 4"-6” in height. These gorgeous ceramic ollas are handmade with ancient traditions from the village of Mata Ortiz in Chihuahua, Mexico. Very collectible and unique. The clay is mined from the Sierra Madre Occidental mountain range, painted with handmade paints from natural pigments, and hand-coiled. This lot of 8 is perfect for anyone's pottery collection or to give out as gifts.
Three of these decorative ceramic ollas are black on black technique with traditional Paquime geometric patterns. All eight are signed by the artist.
