Alebrijes are animals hand painted and carved by hand from copal wood. Copal wood is the traditional wood used to carve Alebrijes.
Zeny Fuentes is from San Martin Tilcajete, Oaxaca, Mexico. He continues the tradition of creating Alebrijes in his family workshop where he creates his incredible art with his wife, Reyna.
