Handmade in Pahuatlán, Puebla, Mexico. The base of this beautiful piece is made from Amate bark paper with a spiral lace border. The embroidered section is on natural muslin cotton.
Ready to be framed or hung as-is. This beautiful work of art is one of a kind. Handcrafted in Andres de la Loma’s workshop. Each piece this size takes weeks to make. The Otomi embroidery is done by hand and the unique colors make this truly a statement piece of art. The Otomi traditional animal designs are traditional spirit animals passed down from generations.
