This Extra Large Alebrije Exotic Bird with removable wings and feathers is approx. 23” x 37” x 14” (w x h x d) including the 20” stand. It weighs 3 lb.
This exquisite piece is by artists, Roberto and Esperanza Martinez from Oaxaca, Mexico, Alebrijes are animals hand painted and carved by hand from aguacatillo wood.
This Alebrije is from Santa Maria Atzompa, Oaxaca, Mexico. We pack and ship all of our woodcarvings safely. This bird’s wings, feathers and base are removed for safe arrival. Assembly Required.

The alebrije is beautiful and compliments my other two I bought while in Mexico. Appreciated the packaging and the coding of exactly where the feathers were to be inserted. Great find and even better price. Would absolutely buy from this seller again. Always looking for good alebrijes.
